Course Fees

Tuition Fees – Total Cost for Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 – £11,708 (inc VAT)

• Level 2 Introduction to Counselling
  Tutor Managed Learning – 35 hours
  Held on – 5 Sundays, Fortnightly
  Duration – 10 Weeks, February or May or September
  Cost – £684
  Application/Interview Fee £95 + Course Fee –  £589, payable 2 weeks prior to course start date
  
  
• Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
  Tutor Managed Learning – 140 hours
  Held on – 18 Saturdays, Fortnightly
  Duration – 1 Year, January – December
  Cost – £3536 + 16 hours of individual counselling sessions
  Application/Int Fee – £95 + Registration Fee £132 + £500 x 1 + £280.90/month x 10 (including £637 for residential weekend)
  
  
• Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling
  Tutor Managed Learning – 300 hours
  Held on – 38 Saturday or Sundays Fortnightly (19 days/year)
  Duration – 2 Years, January to December
  Cost – £7488
  Application/Int Fee £95 + Registration Fee £132 + £500.45 x 2 + £298.10/month x 21 + (including £637 x 2 for residential weekends)

NB. The £75 Application Fee is non-refundable for withdrawn/unsuccessful applicants and the £20 Interview Fee is non-refundable post interview for both successful and non-successful applicants. Course fees can either be paid in full at the start of the course or on a monthly basis by BACS.

Also, residential fees may be subject to increases due to rises in hospitality costs.

Additional Costs for Diploma Course

1. Individual BACP Student Membership – £90/year or £45 if in receipt of state benefit.
2. Individual Professional Indemnity Insurance – £43.80/year.
3. DBS Enhanced Certificate – £74 (inc VAT) via L-F School – some placements may fund this.
4. Individual Supervision – 1 hour supervision per fortnight from commencement of clinical placement, usually starting Level 4 term 2 through to the end of the course. A Directory of Approved Supervisors will be provided and prices range from £35 – £60 per session.
5. Personal Therapy – 70 hours of individual counselling sessions, prices range from £35 -£50 per session and can be arranged through the LIFE-FORCE Centre Counselling Service.
   Additional Total Costs Approx. – £90 x 2 + £43.80 x 2 + £74 + £35 x 50 + £35 x 70 = £4541.60

6. Online Phone Therapy (OPT) Training Days x 2 Non-attendance – additional training fee £180/day

Post Course Extension Fees

Students may apply for a post course extension, which will only be granted in extenuating personal circumstances e.g. significant ill health, personal family crisis or bereavement.

1. Administration Fee – £60 + VAT per quarter
2. Marking Fee – £60+ VAT per assignment
3. Personal Tutorial Fee – £40 + VAT per 50 minute session

Appeals Procedure

Students who wish to appeal an assessment decision will need to follow the Appeals procedure.
Appeals Fee – £150, which is 50% refundable for successful appeals. (Ref. Appeals Procedure)
